Keychain Doesn't Save Windows Login Name/Password?

When I connect my PowerBook to my desktop PC (I share a folder), and I reconnect to it (via the Go->Connect To Server option in the finder), it always prompts me for name and password, along with the option to "Add To Keychain". However, it doesn't seem to add it to the Keychain, because it prompts me every time. Moreover, it populates the User Name field with my Mac OS short name, so I have to continually re-type my Windows XP workstation name and password. Is this a bug in either Mac OS or Windows XP, or something to do with peer-to-peer file sharing?

I have the same issue. I'm looking forward to an answer too. (although sonebldy will just tell us to do a search. I'm sure it's been dealt with before!)
