King of Budget Phones: $49 6" Huawei Ascend XT (H1611)

Couldn't get my hands on a Black Friday Verizon pre-paid Moto G4 Play to use on WIFI but managed to pick up a Huawei Ascend XT last night that's way better. Was $49 on BF but still a great buy at $99.

Running after first charge so too soon to tell. I did switch it from default smart power mode (middle of three) to performance mode.

It was a no brainer at $49 and still a great buy at current $99. Pretty much the same solid build quality of original Moto G1 but bigger, better spec'd, even longer battery life, carrier and bootloader unlockable. Display is top notch Japan Display Inc IPS LCD (one of the display suppliers for iPhones) and averaging an amazing 10 hour SOT on WIFI.

BF $49 price is back but selling out fast. Great as a 6" WIFI tablet or carrier unlockable backup GSM phablet.
