Hi guys was wondering if this will work on my mac pro 1,1. It looks the same as the lycom adapter. Here is a pic of it from amazon. Thanks guys for your help in this great community. Oh just installed the airport the other day, what a pain in the butt it was haha

I was looking at one of the 480GB ones for my 4,1, and I may still get one. I was looking at this because the PCIe SSD options that get talked about on this forum are not available locally, so i'd have to import one and pay the associated shipping etc etc. Whereas I can buy the Predator from a local supplier, with a local warranty.

In my research I found plenty of people who have got good results with this SSD in Mac Pros under OSX. Where people seem to have problems is if they use bootcamp, which seems to refuse to work with it. I don't use bootcamp so this does not worry me. I'm sorry I don't recall any mention of the 1,1 specifically, but there were plenty of people using them in 3,1, 4,1, and 5,1.

From memory, some one in this forum is using this card. But I am not 100% sure, you better try the search function.
