I have one of these... Really happy with it
I just installed it and here are the results. I only have the 240gb instead of the 480 so my read speeds are a little lower but I am amazed. Make my mid 2012 feel like my nmp.

Thanks! It's good to know that. I can easily get this one in a local computer store. So, more choice for the PCIe SSD now :D

For a half price it would be kinda interesting.
SM951 512GB is more than 100 quid cheaper and has more than twice as high write and about 50% higher read.
Adaptor costs next to nothing on ali.

I got the 240 gig model, it was only 205.00 dollars, included the pci-e card. For the price I am very happy!

SM951 256GB is under $200 on Amazon + $6 for the adapter on ali.
But if you're happy that's most important thing :)

Has anyone consider the new Tempo PCIe 3.0 SSD?

It's a bit more $$$ but they claim data transfers speeds up to 1936 MB/sec

It's a SM951 just in purple clothes. See performance tab and you'll know how it's capable of 1.9GB/s read.
