Can anyone let me know if a Kingston NV2 NVME M.2 SSD can work in a late 2013 MacBook pro 15 inch?

I know that NV2 has got a bad score at Tom's Hardware and I've also heard at least two cases that the SSD was not recoqnized by MacBook Pros. Personally I'm just exploring the same with Kingston NV3 1TB and MacBook Pro 13" Early 2015. I've used 2 new SSDs, with OS installed or not formatted at all. I've run all updates via SilentKnight and everything seems ok. But the SSDs won't show up anywhere (Disk Utility, macOS, Terminal). But no problem with the SSDs via external dock. I suspect they could be incomaptible with MacBook Pros from 2013-2015.
