Kudos to Apple Maps

Having criticised Apple Maps quite a bit, I do need to give its latest incarnation in iOS 11.1.1 some credit:

1) It correctly spotted a lane closure along the motorway (highway) while Waze did not;

2) Lane guidance has made its way into France, check out this beauty:

3) Its proposed routes seem to be better than those of Google & Waze, with less zig-zags and strange manoeuvres.

The mapping adventure continues...

That's good to hear. I've been using Waze, but it doesn't integrate with the rest of my tech the way Apple maps does. Will have to give it another try.

Apple maps has definitely gotten better in the year I’ve been using an iPhone
