l cannot see all my 8 notes that are in my iphone on my new mac air which displays only 5. how do l get the Mac air to actually show all 8?

I'd think it depends where you made the notes?, I mean if iCloud is turned on, on your phone it's meant to show in Notes on your computer, that's all I can think of, iCloud is the thing that links your devices to share your content.
Where are the 5 notes you can see made from and where are the other 3 you can't see from, that's a good start point, if they're different.??


Another thing to perhaps look into on your MBA, (in Notes) check "view" and look for show folders, just taking a rough guess on this one.

quick question if iCloud is full will the notes still show or sync in devices with same iCloud ? notice it doesn't but in notes, there is a Yahoo! and it has 4 notes and they sync fine with my devices, but notice it does take time, ~ < 30mins? views

If you're out of iCloud storage than you may see unpredictable behavior from iCloud features (Notes included). I suggest you do something to address your iCloud storage issue - add more storage, or delete unwanted stuff.

Your Yahoo! notes don't depend on how much iCloud storage you have (Yahoo! is providing the storage for Yahoo! notes), so as long as you have a good login to Yahoo! and Yahoo!'s servers are working normally, things should be fine there.

Yes. I've always found Notes to sometimes sync 'now' and sometimes sync 'later'. Guess it's a 'Feature'? LOL.
