l4D2 - Constant Crashing - Mac Pro 2008

Hi All,

I don't usually game but I saw the L4D2 sale and had to get it as I have L4D1. I have only messed around in single player but after a certain amount of time the game will freeze my entire system. Even if I try to force quit I have to do a hard restart. Any other game I try to play in steam works perfectly fine. Is there an error log or something I can check from the steam side of things?

Specs:
Mac Pro 2008 2x2.8ghz Quad.
Flashed ATi HD4890 OS X 10.6.4 w/Latest Zeus update

i would recommend removing the zeus drivers and using the standard apple drivers... i got a 2010 mac pro with stock drivers and i was playing l4d2 for over 4 hours with no problems...

LOL! I sense a troll. Has anybody had a similar problem? It's very random.
