I've been using this for a while and it's really useful - and not only for keeping an inventory of your stuff.

For instance, I'm moving in to a new house soon, so there's plenty to keep track of, like new appliances and furniture to research. I just mark down the specifics when I find something I might like, take a picture, and then I can see the different options anytime to help make up my mind! I can sort it by room or function (e.g,. appliances, furniture, stereo equipment)

(I do also keep various lists of my audio goodies (speakers, headphones, etc.), my computer/ipod goodies, etc. It's great for that, too.)
