I have several Dymo label printers. All are USB - not moved to WiFi yet. I previously used on Windows second PC which has now been sold off and replaced with a Mac mini so complete setup (apart from routers and switches) is Apple. The Dymo software terrifies me with all the extensions it is looking to "install" and what is cleary a very dated UI. I prefer software from brew and MAS so I can script all setup and have terminal control of apps.

I have the label printed connected to Mac and via CUPS UI was able to set default page sizes. Quick test from terminal using lpq and lpr shows printer working. Affinity works fine as does Pages but cumbersome.

Can anyone suggest a simple label app that allows quick printing of single labels? Support for Avery sheets via desktop printer would also be handy though Dymo is preference. Quite happy to pay a reasonable fee for app. Several recommended in PC Pro were business apps with 3 figure price tags and given I print only occasionally were hard to justify
