I am debating between buying a black MacBook and a MacBook Pro. I am a graduate student in an engineering lap (Windows computers only). I have racked my brain to come up with a list of all the apps I am going to using trying to decide between the MB and MBP. The only app that I thought of that might require the "better" machine is LabView. I am going to be buying the student edition for VI creation and editing only, I will not be collecting data on this computer, just using it to take my work home. Does anyone have any expereince using LabView on a MacBook?
BTW, here are the requirements for the student edition install:
* Macintosh
* Processor: G3 or better
* RAM: 256 MB
* Screen Resolution: 1024 x 768 pixels
* Operating System: Mac OS X (10.3 or later)
* Disk Space: 500 MB
From this I assume there should be no problem, but I wanted to see if anyone had first hand knowledge.
