Hey guys,

Did anybody manage to connect LaCie 5Big ThunderBolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 - enabled mac? I do have MacBook Pro 13" with two thunderbolt 3 ports, to which I am trying to connect this 5Big device using Thunderbolt 2 - Thunderbolt 2 cable and Thunderbolt 2 - Thunderbolt 3 adapter. Seems like it does not work at all. LaCie support gently telling me to go *** myself with my strange requests.

Any ideas anybody? Did anybody connect it successfully?

I found out what was that.

Of course I was using Apple's Thunderbolt 3->2 adapter. The problem was to explicitly allow in Security settings to allow the specific kernel extension to work. When I allowed it and restarted the mac - everything started working perfectly

Good reason to an enclosure that lets you use Disk Utility to setup RAID 0 or 1. When selecting RAID 0 you can also define the block size you want. Could not do that with the WD My Book Duo controller.

Hey iChernov would you be able share a step to step guide to fixing it? If you could that would be sweet.

- You install LaCie RAID manager
- Connect LaCie RAID to your Mac
- Go to System Preferences
- Open Security & Privacy Preferences. Click on 'Open Security & Privacy System Preferences' from the Intego software alert window: ...
- Click the 'Allow' Button. ...
- Press 'Continue' for the LaCie kernel extension
- Restart computer

Has anybody had any experience with LaCie RAID Manager and the new Apple Silicon Macs? I am having trouble getting it running. It loads up, says it needs to install a driver and then needs to restart. I follow the steps but it says it needs to install the driver again, and needs to restart again. Have gone through the process 3 times now...
