Lacie Big Disk SSD TB and 27" TB monitor

Is this possible?
I'm disappointed that my 2012 Mac Mini server has a single TB port while my 2011 iMac has two.

In any case, can I chain a Lacie 256 GB SSD from the 27" Apple TB display? I don't want to purchase it only to have issues later.

Yes it's possible.

I chain 2 TB displays and a Lacie 2Big TB on a 2011 MBP (only has 1 TB port) and it works just fine.
