Lag while closing safari windows

I had a question that I've been searching for an answer for. This happens when there are more than 3 windows open in safari. I noticed when I close them ther is a lag, it takes about 3-5 second just for that window to close. Anyone know why this happens?

Also is there anything I can do to make the lag stop?

Same here. It's because having 3+ windows open takes up a nice chunk of memory and the phone is trying to clear out the memory from the page you want to close.
