I am on the gold master and I have started to notice major lag opening things and with animations. I downloaded gfxcardstatus and forced the laptop to only do discrete graphics and the issue is gone.

I am running a mid 2012 Retina Macbook Pro with 16gb ram and 2.6 i7.

There must be some sort of bug in integrated graphics.

It's not bug... It's poor optimisations, poor coding from lazy Apple programmers...

Well it is annoying. They need to get their code together. I am noticing more bugs with their products. I think they are really pushing their staff to pump out this stuff and it seems like they don't have time to clean the bugs up.

The ui on my rMBP 15" 2013 is definitely much laggier now on Yosemite than on Mavericks. Really not happy so far.

My 2013/2014 iMac (2.9-3.6Ghz quad core i5, 8GB of RAM, 1TB HDD, 750m) runs Yosemite beautifully. Runs even better than Mavericks and Mountain Lion, loving how buttery it is.
