Hi all,

I recently upgraded my mac pro 1,1 from a X1900 to a flashed 1gb HD4870. While performance increase in bootcamp win 7 has been significant, it seems like it has degraded in OSX 10.6 compared to the old card. I've noticed slowdowns InDesign CS5, Civilization V and even scrolling performance in Chrome.

I looked around for driver/firmware updates, but I haven't had any luck. Any ideas what might be causing this?

Is the menu bar transparent / does the DVD player app crash? If yes then you need to download the exotic QE patch from netkas

I didn't have those errors, but I gave the patch a go and it seems to have made a difference, thank you!
