Laggy Login Screen After Update?

My 2017 iMac seems laggy when switching users after I updated to High Sierra. Before the update everything was snappy and lightning fast. Now when I use Fast User Switching and even when I switch users from the login screen it seems to hang for a bit, 30secs maybe?

Ive tried reseting the NVRAM and fixing permissions with no change.

Any Ideas?

I read through a few pages. a lot of people timing their startups. No fix as of yet?
