Is it just me, or is there no transport controls(other than play/pause) when listening to audio in landscape mode? I know when there is video you can scrub forward and back in landscape, but not with audio.

I fall asleep while listening to my iphone everynight. I have it mounted on a stand next to my bed, and it rests in landscape mode. It's annoying that i have to take it out and hold it up to FF or RW or skip forward or back.

Maybe i'm just missing something though, i am a newb with the iphone. But this just seems silly that those controls aren't there.

Home Button Setting

Set your home button so that double clicking it brings up your transport controls (from General Settings). Then put your phone in landscape with the ipod active and double click your home button. You should now have transport controls. hope this helps
