Landscape mode not working on IPhone 8+ iOs14

Ever since I updated it won’t change orientation even though the orientation lock isn’t turned on. How to fix that?
 
Anybody else having this issue? I’d like to know for sure before updating my 8+.
 
Seems like this might now be the case if you have widgets on your home screen.
