So I’m missing something obviously. I added a widget to one of my pages. If I flip it to landscape mode nothing changes. It still stays in portrait mode. Does this not work on the iPhone? Portrait/landscape is set to off.

Are you asking if your iPhone home screen supports landscape mode? None of my iPhones’ home screens have ever done this.

I have an iPhone 8 Plus. It works without widgets on the Home Screen but not with.

From 6+ to 8+ landscape home page was a feature. it has been deprecated. Question is, did they not include intentionally with widget because not on newer phones, or bug?

I had landscape Home on my 6s Plus and 7 Plus. You could not use "Zoomed" in display settings, it had to be set to "Standard" to allow it to be used in landscape. I never used it.

i have an 11 Plus Pro and numerous plus models before and there is no such thing as landscape home screens.
The Plus models (6 Plus-8 Plus) all had landscape support for the Home Screen. Your “11 Plus Pro” does not because it does not exist. You have an 11 Pro Max. Max models (XS Max and 11 Pro Max) do not support landscape Home Screens.
