I take many screenshots in landscape mode and then email them from within Photos to friends. When they receive it, the pic turns out like this.

Is this just a known issue or is there some fix/tip to correct the rotation before it is sent? I know this is the home screen and can be turned to portrait mode, just using this as an example.

Have you tried rotating it in photos before you email it?
Yes just rotate your pic

I'm sure there are other apps that will let you rotate photos in your Photos gallery, but I just came across a nice FREE one that runs in iPad full resolution.

It is called Zagg PhotoPad. Give it a try, it has other handy image editing tools too

Guys, I think there may be a problem other than rotating the screenshot using a Photos app. After looking at the OP's post, it seems as if the pic is not completely rendered since it doesn't include the image all the way... down in the lower-right hand corner where the battery symbol would be. Is this true or is it just that Safari on my iPad isn't showing everything?

It is completely rendered I just cropped it on my Mac to show the example.

Thanks b.c. For the photo pad by zagg app recomendation, that solved the problem and is a great app.
