for learning a second/third/n language?

Rosetta stone is cool -- i've never gotten through the whole thing though -- it was effective for what I used

expensive though

i guess for people on the go, travel wise. if there is any just to LEARN the language, that would be beneficial, but ones where you can hear the native speaker and where you can be quizzed on, etc.

thanks for the responses!

Has anyone tried the new MyWords apps? I'm thinking of getting the SpanishPod101 one. They look promising, but I was already burned with another language app that was also $10, and I don't want to waste my money again. Currently there are no reviews, so just wanted to see if anyone else took the plunge...

I'm shocked the SpanishPod101 still doesn't have any reviews yet. Has no one downloaded this? Some of the other MyWords language apps have a few reviews, but they're all over the place! Can't really get a handle if this is a good buy or not. If ANYONE's downloaded these, especially the Spanish one, I'd love to hear what you have to say...
