This never used to happen, but since iOS 16(not sure if it started with .0 or later) sometimes, much more often than I would like — as I'm typing, the language changes on its own. I made sure it wasn't me accidentally hitting the globe on the bottom left... Anyone else experiencing this?

Hasn’t this always been the case depending on what you are typing and it learns from there?

I type in Spanish, german and English (depending on the person / page) and I have only one keyboard active (thus no globe icon). It’s smart enough to learn what language I am typing. If I write „you are“ it will get that it should follow up with more English. If I write „was geht“ it will continue with german and so on

I guess, but if I'm straight up typing in Russian, without using any English words — isn't it a bit odd that it does that?

You mean that the keyboard switches from kyrillic to latin? Or that it starts suggesting e.g. english words when typing russian? It might help to reset the keyboard dictionary - Settings->General->Reset.

That's right — just changes the language as I'm typing! So, I'm a bit hesitant to reset, what exactly will that reset — I've never noticed that option before.. :)
