Typical LTT video, when they try something off the wall, its enjoyable

In all seriousness, I would never de-lid or lap the die, no matter how hot the cpu is, but then I know the limits of my ability (or rather inability) Yet I do find these sort of videos so interesting and entertaining

Georgia
Yea, I don't really get it. It's not as though you're going to drop the temps 20C or get from a 5.2Ghz OC to a 6.2Ghz OC. The returns are usually pretty small. Maybe if you're trying to win an OC competition. Otherwise why push your equipment that hard?

It's interesting to read about though. Just not something I'd bother with.

Gotta be in it to win it
These youtubers do things us ordinary mortals, for the most part, would stay away from. I cringed as they ruined two cpus. What is interesting is how fast the ihs heats up. A second or two before Linus' said his hands were burning.

But I do agree, interesting and entertaining.
