laptop as a monitor for Apple TV

Can I use Fujitsu Siemens laptop as a monitor to Apple TV?
Will it work if I use card TV - http://www.dinodirect.com/Express-Card-TV-Tuner-PCMCIA-Video-Card-E860.html ?

Not sure why you'd want to do that, it's a laptop, why not just run iTunes on it and play your media that way.

But to answer your question, It depends on what model your ATV is and weather it's hacked.

The capture card you've linked to only has s-video and composite inputs. The ATV version 1 (old one) has HDMI and component outputs but if you hack it you can connect it via composite so it should work.

However if your ATV is the new one then it only has HDMI out so it's a no.

Probably not. But as an earlier post stated, it would be much easier to just use iTunes.

Considering the input options on that card are OTA coax antenna or s-video, no.

Even if it would work - it would look horrible.

Everything the Apple TV can do can be done on a computer either through iTunes or with a web browser (netflix, youtube, ect).

No need to re-invent the wheel. You already have the computer, use the computer.
