I’m not sure if I like the look of the large app icons. To me they look funny with the notification badges staying the same size. I also wish they took up more space on the lower part of the screen.

Do people like or dislike the large icons?

Love/hate (neutral). I like the ability to get rid of the titles. I wish I could have kept the icons the same size but lost the titles. And I do agree, Apple should space them a bit further downward. Or, lose the search button (it’s pointless and redundant) and add another row. It doesn’t really make sense how it is right now, but I have left it on the large/no titles setting since iOS 18.

I don’t use folders at all, I only have one main screen and I go to the App Library or pull down to search for everything else. So for me, no titles is best.

I'd like to get rid of the app names, but keep the cloud symbol (for off-loaded apps) and the dots to signify apps which are in TestFlight or recently updated.

Oh, and folder names. Just give me toggles for every system setting possible, and I'll be happy :)

You can turn off the search button.

I have three pages of icons. On the first two pages, large icons is great because I know what each app's icon looks like.

The third page can be a bit tricky as that's where I keep my rarely used apps. Adds a certain random element to the OS. :)

I wouldn't need my third page if we could set our own folders in the App Library but I don't think that's coming until iOS 33.
