My iPhone 11 Pro Max on iOS 14 Developer Beta 2 has used 2.5gb of cellular data in 3 days. Usually I use that amount of data in a month!
Even with turning off iCloud Drive and not allowing the files app access to cellular it again downloaded 324mb this morning! I was only off WiFi for 15 min on my commute to work.
Have read others experienced this on previous betas in different versions of iOS but not sure if anyone ever found a solution?
I recently sold my iMac and moved everything from there onto iCloud Drive as my iPad is currently my desktop ”pc” so I wonder if this is where the problem lies? As in the sync never completed properly?
Both the iPhone and iPad are on the beta software.
I tried to restore the iPhone and start with a fresh install but it failed so currently trying to reinstall iOS13.6 but if it still uses such a large volume of data I’m not sure what to do. (I doubt Apple support will be able to assist?)
If anyone has experienced this or has a work around or ideas, I’d love to hear!
Thanks
