Large FPS drop just recently!

Last week i was running WoW, HoN, Killing Floor, TF2, Sims 3 all fine with good frame rates and all the sudden just this weekend my frame rates dropped horribly. im not sure as to why this is, i saw the thing about the new update dropping everyones fps but mine was fine for a few days after i patched and now its just really bad.
Here's some more info:
1) Running 2010 MBP 15" i5
2) i haven't upped any of the settings on any of the games
3) i haven't installed anything new since
4) nothing else runs slower, just these games.

is there something i can do that could help like idk a defragment or something similar? or does this all have to do with the recent update and i have to wait it out?

im just looking for some info, this is my first Mac so i don't know as much about dealing with these slow downs like i do on windows.

What OS version are you using? It might be related to this.

Me wonders how hard it is to go backwards... (revert to older MacOS version).

If I remember right, you have to do a clean install or install&archive of your current system, using an install disk, and then install the 10.6.3 update onto that. Probably more trouble that it's worth
