Largest Genuine Apple Charger iPhone Pro Max ?

Hi,

I am looking to purchase a genuine Apple charger that is the fastest possible option. I had been using my 140W MBP USB-C to Lighting but I’m almost certain that it is causing the battery health to rapidly decrease. I like the fast charge I get from it but not if it’s going to damage my battery.

I plan on purchasing iPhone 16 Pro Max so I am hoping not to damage this battery.

Regardless of the wattage of the charger, the phone will only use what it's rated for. A 140W charger is still going to charge the iPhone 16 Pro Max at 20W via USB-C, or 25W with MagSafe wireless. So Apple's 30W charger will provide max charging power for either method, but your 140W charger isn't going to hurt it either.

That’s what I thought, however, my phone gets boiling hot when on charge and I basically cannot move it when it’s on the 140W charge otherwise the charging is interrupted.

I just noticed on the 140W power adapter page it makes no mention of iPhone 14 Pro Max. While the 35W dual charger mentions it.
