Last Gen 21.5 vs Current Gen 27 - Performance Question

I currently have a 3.06 C2D 21.5 inch with the Radeon 4670 and I'm looking at a new 3.2 i3 27 inch with the Radeon 5670.

I have two questions. Is the 3.2 i3 a decent jump over the 3.06 C2D?

Second, the only game I really play is World of Warcraft and it plays fine at the 21.5 inch resolutions with the 4670. I know that the 5670 outperforms the 4670 but I'll be pushing extra resolution with the 27 inch screen....what should I expect for overall performance between the two?

You'll probably hardly notice a difference in performance, but the 27" display is very noticeable!
