Vista 64 has been running well on the MBP. However, once I hooked up and configured the computer for the 24" ACD, I have no brightness control on the ACD.

I can move the brightness adjustment scale, but the brightness does not change. This is only with the ACD, the brightness adjustment on the MBP screen works fine.

Any Ideas? I'm thinking the bootcamp driver for the ACD is not quite up to snuff yet?

One another note about the 24" ACD, if I keep the lid closed on the MBP, after a few minutes I lose internet connectivity. This happens in OS X as well as Windows, very strange.

Same here, about the brightness not working. I'm thinking it's tied to the brightness of the laptop and not the monitor. I'd like to hear a solution.

Internet works fine though.

The Apple ACDs have no hardware controls for brightness, so you'd need software drivers to control that in the OS. But since Apple doesn't offer any drivers for Windows, you officially can't set the brightness on the ACDs in Windows. There is a utility for both XP and Vista, but only for the 32-bit variants. For Vista 64, I guess you're out of luck. Well, you could always try installing it and see if it works anyway. Somewhere on the Apple Discussions pages, there's a discussion about this very issue. You might want to check it out.

Please post if it worked, so others can benefit from your work. And also please post because I'm just curious. ;)
