Hello everyone,

I was curious if anyone had experience with this setup. I want to connect the new mac mini to a 40" 1080p Sharp Aquos (via MiniDisplayPort -> HDMI) for movies and a 24" 1080p Asus LCD Monitor (via Mini DVI -> DVI) for general computer stuff. For sound I'm planning to use the Apple® Mini Jack Optical Audio Output to my HDTV's sound bar.

My question will this work properly? Will this display 1080p and 720p video to the HDTV correctly? Any suggestions?

Late 2009? As in the ones that just came out?
No one knows.

But if the GPU is the same as the last Mini then it drives a 47" Panasonic at 1080p just fine. I know because I'm doing it now.

GPU is the same, I was just saying I'd be buying a new mac mini if I were to do this.

Thank you for the input :)

Do you have your mini connected to the HDTV and a monitor? or just the TV
