Late 13 mac pro monitor issues

Hi there-

So, I bought this new mac pro late 2013. Running 10.10.2. Every time I boot the computer, the monitors mirror each other. Even if I de-select the mirror option. After the computer boots and a remove the second monitor plug and then re-insert it, then everything is fine. Using Lightning port 1 for main monitor and HDMI port for second monitor. Any ideas on how to fix this???

I will say just this: 10.10.2 is cataclysmically buggy on Mac Pro (Late 2013). Most of the problems are graphics related.

Yes, I am not kidding, this is all but funny. 10.9.5 is working fine.
