I have a 256Mb ssd in my current iMac. I purchased a 1Tb kit from Owc which arrived today. I opened up the iMac to install new drive and the hd bay is empty and no hd cable in sight. Can I still use the updated drive, or is this not possible? Thanks for any help!

Think you meant to say 256GB. Not Mb. ;) Also, could your provide any pictures?

If this is the kit you purchased:

and your late 2015 27" iMac only had the 256 GB Flash storage then you will also need a SATA drive cable like this:

to install the OWC SATA SSD.
