OS Version: macOS Sierra 10.12 (installed with dosdude1 sierra patch tool)
Mac model: MacBook late 2008 unibody
Dongle:GMYLE Bluetooth Adapter Dongle, Ultra-Mini USB Broadcom BCM20702

I tried installing the Continuity Activation Tool AFTER I had upgraded to MacOS (Sierra) using dosdude1's macOS Sierra Patch Tool.

I have GMYLE Bluetooth Adapter Dongle, Ultra-Mini USB Broadcom BCM20702. System diagnostics showed dongle was fully supported. Activation tool ran smoothly but after reboot, boot hung. I wonder if activation tool broke the changes made by sierra patch. When I boot with verbose option it hang with a "busy timeout" and a reference to kextd "ARPT" (I do not recall exactly what the error was).

I reinstalled MacOS and got it back to booting and working fine. I wonder how I can install CAT in this situation. MacOS Sierra is working fine and I would like to have Handoff and Continuity as well.
