Late 2008 MBP Lion Dual Monitors

So. you see, I have a late 2008 MBP. And Lion DP3 on a second partition. You see, I live with external displays. SL works great with it. Lion. Ohmygod. It goes to 100% CPU with kernel_task, configd, powerd, and syslogd. WHY MUST IT BE LIKE THIS. Until then, no Lion for me.

I'm having the same problem. If I unplug the power cable, it works fine. If I plug the power cable back in, cpu spikes. Without the 2nd display connected everything works fine.
