I bought this 27" iMac, Late 2009 model, from my friend a few weeks ago. I was wanting to add a SSD drive to it and also upgrade the current HD to 2TB instead of the 1TB that it came with.

Am I able to also include a SSD drive into it? I really wouldn't care that it stays down or that it's 100% secure so it won't move, my computer doesn't ever move and just want to be able to have a fast bootable OS.

I would prefer to do this instead of having an internal SSD and external HD.

Thanks,
Danny

You'd either have to replace the hard drive or optical drive with the SSD. 09 models only come with 2 sata connections if I remember correctly.
