does the late 2009 imac i5 2.66 quad core model. support sata 3 connection to an internal hard drive? like the 6gb connections? thanks

so our imacs won't support the speed of the new ssds? well this sucks lol..time to put it up on ebay.

yeah I have 23 months on my imac apple care. I grabbed my iMac last feb 2010. I use it for my kitchen tv/dvr/computer it is wall mounted. I am not sure what to do sell when the 2011 comes out or hold on for a while.

Because we all know we need quad cores and 8GB of RAM to watch streaming TV and view recipes

Yes it will. My Mac Pro is SATA II and utilizes the full speeds of an SSD. Some people have even set up x2 SSD's in RAID0 to achieve twice the speed.
