It might be enough if you have an HD for everything else. However, I would get at least 60GB, it not that much more

Oh yes, I probably should have mentioned that I currently have 1TB Caviar Black hooked up to the OWC Elite AL Pro. I don't do much photoshop, however its just a hobby.

What I'm really stumped on is this Corsair Drive, vs the Intel x-25 vs the OWC 40gig...It seems the sandforce controller is the best thing as of now, Im curious on your opinions on the OWC vs this Corsair.

If there are any comparable to price/performance, I'd be open to those drives as well. Thanks!:)

Yeah, AnandTech only recommends SandForce drives for Macs because they're currently the only ones that hold up well over time without needing TRIM (which is Win7-only at the moment).

As for comparisons between different SandForce-powered brands, I contacted diglloyd (who ran the OWC and other ssds through a torture test) and he said that all SandForce drives should perform pretty much the same. That said, the OWC was the only SandForce drive he tested. Though the OWC drives can cost a little more, at least you'd be supporting domestic (U.S.) assembly by a company based in a LEED-certified green building .

The 2.53 performs very well in the OWC bench tests. Check out-OWC/Tech Support/Bench Tests/Mini.

Also good analysis on various RAM sizes.

Please excuse my lack of information.
Is the Corsair F40 drive that I have a Sanforce Controller?

I got it from Fry's and it came out to 89 after rebate...They had other drives like the Torqx (sp) as well the Intel.

I just downloaded XBENCH, not sure if its a flagship benchmarker, but I ran test after OSX updated and all..As of yet, Photoshop isnt on here as well as Lightroom. I'm not sure if any of that matters..

Here is my camparison to someone elses X25M 160. Let me know if these results are anything to be happy about. The SSD world is new to me!
Thanks for everyones opinion

EDIT: As far as comparisons, What exactly should I be looking at in terms of these results.
I looked up this drive compared to someone elses Vertex, and mine got blown out of the water. However I'm not sure if I'm comparing price/size fairly. What are you guys recommendations for the Sub $200 boot drives?
