I have a Late 2011 mini server. This is the one with 2GHZ Core i7 processor.

For quite some time now, 2-3x a week I have to hold the power button and hard shut down because I lose all video out. I have two displays (though I cut back to one seeing if that would help, it hasn't), and they lose all input signal. I just have the dark screens.

I think the hard shut downs are taking a toll too. Last week I had to do a restore and transfer all my settings from Time Machine because my Raid 0 setup on internal drives were too badly corrupted or something.

Any idea how to stop this issue of losing video out? It happens when I go to wake the computer back up after being away from it a while, it never comes back. It has happened for a long time (probably since new), though much more regularly as of late. It used to be maybe every 1 or 2 months, but now as I say a couple times a week at least.

Thanks for any advice.

That model has HDMI and Thunderbolt output. Were you able to confirm loss of video out on both those ports?

Yes, it is on both both ports as until recently I was using both ports for dual displays. I've went down to one display to see if it helped, but it didn't. I tried both individually too. Thanks
