Hi, my iMac was working fine, and is still as good as new...
All the sudden, yesterday morning I tried to start it up.. but no response after pushing the power button.
I tried disconnecting the cable for a while, but after plugging it back in, still no response whatsoever.

Please help me, I really need this iMac to work again.

Thanks in advance!
Kind regards

Make sure the power cord is all the way in. Give it a real good shove. I’ve thought it was in far enough, and it wasn’t. Double check.

Check the other end of your power cable, too...
(have you checked that your power strip/surge protector has power?)
But, also try removing ALL power from your iMac: unplug ALL cables. Leave it alone and unplugged for at least 10 minutes, then plug ONLY the power cord in, and try the power button.
Try this trick: Press and hold the power button for about 20 seconds. Then, release the button, and finally, press and release your power button.
Still no response? The power supply might have failed.
There's lots of sources for a replacement power supply... That looks like a typical price for that power supply.
