Hi,
I wonder if anyone else is experiencing a similar issue to myself, I just received my new MacBook Pro a couple of days ago and upon testing the speakers out the right speaker has awful muffled cracking sound when any type of audio is played above 70% volume. Its most apparent when playing audio with lots of speech.
I went though apple support resetting the NVRAM and SMC with no luck.
Apple have agreed to return my 2016 TB MacBook Pro and have ordered me a replacement which is estimated for delivery between 4th - 9th Jan!!!!!!

Im at the back of the queue now which is most disappointing considering I had already waited a month for this machine and was one of the first people in the UK to receive my new Mac.
Anyone else having this issue?
