Latest Apple TV update lets you re-arrange icons

Just as the title says. The update is 5.1. Hold down the select button on any app below the first row and you get an iOS style jiggle. Apparently the remote feature to quickly sleep is now on the Play/Pause button when you hold it down.

Yeah, but the top row is locked which sucks because that's what I want to rearrange.

It was mentioned in the release notes of 5.1, so I wasn't surprised, just disappointed.

You can also delete photos in Photo Stream now.

The top row may be locked, but at least now we can eliminate the ones we don't like with new options in Parental Controls. To do this you have to enable Parental Controls and elect to hide all the icons you don't want.

Not good enough, I want SIRI, so I don't have to type with a $&^@# clickwheel remote.

Yup, its called "remote", and with it you can use the keyboard on your iphone/ipad

Fascinating! Those are two things I wasn't aware of. I wonder why Apple didn't advertise those in the update.

Since the update and being able to rearrange icons, I have been unable to turn off my ATV3 the way I used to...push and hold the Select button. Now, I have to go in and put it to sleep...any ideas?

Press and hold the play/pause button. It works for me.

Since I'm not a sports fan, I like that I was able to hide the sports icons. Also being able to rearrange the icons is a plus as well
