The latest cydia update is causing boot loop for me.

So everything was fine I was in bed playing with phone I saw some updates I updated I fell asleep I woke up to the phone in the 'apple screen" and it was looping over and over..

I restored to 9.0.2....which is tricky now that 9.1 is out who knows how long it is gonna sign.. so I downloaded ipsw and did a directed restore... anyways i JB again.. everything was fine.. I loaded cydia..there was an upgrade... I upgraded it... and I reboot.. there we go....loop again....

Anyone experiencing this?

Update... I rewiped.. reJB... and I did not upgrade...I reboot the phone and there it was loop again... I am gonna now try to wipe it and without JB reboot it to eliminate the possibility of a hardware issue.. will report back... so if it is the JB even without upgrade.. what should I do ?

hard reset/reboot freshly wiped no issue whatsoever....

I updated last night too to the latest Pangu Untethered version. I think 1.1 ,and although it took an age for Cydia to update its File System when I first launched it I've had no issues.

looks like you're experiencing the boot loop of death

It's probably one of your cydia substrate tweak(s) that is causing this problem. try booting up while holding the volume up button until you get to the lock screen to boot up with cydia substrate disabled

If that works, then you'll need to find which tweak is causing this boot loop problem

the pangu untether was recently updated to 1.1, which supposedly fixes this boot loop problem. I recommend updating to the updated version of the untether to see if it fixes your problem

I had this aswell.
And i really don't know what tweak cause it.

I had to restore my iphone and Jailbreak again.... the problem is that if this happens again, maybe Apple will be not signing 9.0.2 at that time

Same problem here had to restore and upgrade again. Re jailbroke it and haven't had any issues except for a couple random reboots.

I think the key is not to do a hard reset and if you have to, use the volume up button, then once you are in, u can do a normal on and off and the tweaks will come back on. the volume up thing did not work for me first time I encountered this issue I had to wipe it first but yesterday my phone was off for some reason and I used the described method to make sure I didn't get the loop of death
