Is that a new high res icon? I didn't notice the graphics being updated...but it looks like the icon is. I can deal with that.

Graphics weren't updated to support Retina Display. They would have said so. One reviewer said the graphics still looked like crap on his iPhone 4, so I'll take that as a no.

I'm glad the icon was updated, but it's pretty lame they didn't update the game's graphics, or really anything about the game except the underwater level.

Yeah. I felt like it was a really long wait (almost two months) for a fairly small update. I was expecting something more... maybe the iPad version as well.

While it sucks that they didn’t update the graphics to support the retina display, the developers don’t owe us anything. If they do updated the graphics (like Rovio announced today for Angry Birds), I’ll be extremely grateful. It’s not exactly easy and quick to redo all of the graphics in a game.

Me personally, I think that developers (if possible) should sell retina display updates as DLC for $.99-ish.

I'll talk with Igor. I'm sure they're already working on it, but I can double check.
