Hi,

I have the most recent base spec Mac Mini and put Yosemite Beta 2 on. It works flawlessly apart from the wifi disconnects randomly and stays off for ages. Ive tried everything. Anybody else with a Mac Mini having this problem? If so, how did you fix it?

2011 MacMini 5400 rpm Hdd 8 GB ram, just switched from cable modem to AirPort Extreme (Newest model), and Yosemite Beta 2, and so far for first day, no disconnects. Others may chime in later. Good luck

I can't be the only one with a 2012 mac Mini with this problem surely?

So you were having the same problem as me but changing to an Airport Extreme has solved it?

My issues came from my old Router last year with cut offs and had to restart the wifi, and when I changed to the extreme most issues were addressed. One exception was the cable company and that to was addressed with there modem that initially did not work too well. Cable company changed modems and no more issues at all.

With you, the install of Yosemite might be the issue. Not me. However, I did a clean install, and re-set up of my modem, and DNS server to another one that gave me better connection.

Some issues seen here on DNS and Yosemite. Unknown if related in a small way.
