Is anyone else experiencing the constant consecutive pop-ups with Jump Desktop on the target Mac running the latest Sonoma 14.4, build 23E5180j that asks if it should allow or deny Screen Capture by Jump Desktop?

You have to manually respond to several of these pop-ups in a row on the target Mac before you can finally remote in with Jump Desktop, which makes it virtually unusable for its intended purpose.

My workaround is to Jump to another Mac (running Mojave), then run Remote Desktop on it to access the original intended Mac to respond the incessant pop-ups until Jump can finally connect to it.

Yes, I came here and was about to report the same. Too bad as I use Jump constantly and am now stuck.

I will save anyone else the headache: I tried sudo tccutil reset ScreenCapture to reset the security prefs (tcc db) but that didn't help.

Seems Jump or macOS will need another update. Back to VNC for now...

The comfort is that at least it's not a unique issue just with my setup and various Macs

Jump is still "broken" under the latest beta macOS 14.4 (23E5191e)

FWIW, every single (non-MAS) app on my Mac that requests screen recording permissions requires extra clicks to approve... even simple screenshot apps like CleanShot X pop up extra dialogs. I've reported this to Apple... FB13580551

I am getting the same thing for Snagit2024. Hopefully, enough people have reported this and they will fix in the next public/beta release. Still happening for me using 14.4 Beta (23E5191e).

Error message is "Allow screen capture in '<application>'? This application will be able to capture your screen and audio."

I've already granted the application permissions in security settings.

Any updates?

Yea, I just had a pop-up warning for Default Folder for the first time, which is also a non-MAS app...

This nonsense still isn't fixed in Dev Beta 3 23E5196e

It's almost like none of the developers at Apple have any software installed on their laptops.

Same here. 14.4 Beta (23E5196e) Any app requiring screen capture / recording (CleanShot, Bartender, WebEx, MS Teams) I get the pop up.
All are enabled in Settings -> Privacy & Security.
I thought I was going crazy.

I thought I was going crazy too. Hopefully beta 4 (most likely 12 days away) fixes this or JumpDesktop gets ScreenCaptureKit up and running soon.

Yes, was going to post later today but - they rewrote their app to use the new ScreenCaptureKit APIs and it's working well ! Now if Bartender, CleanShot, and Screenflick would do the same we're golden :)

Looks like 14.4 beta 4 (23E5205c) has rolled back the deprecation for now, so most apps that were broken are working again...

So only the target Mac needs the Connect (server) app updated right?
The client macOS / iOS apps version has no effect?
