Latest update rumor: June/July

Hey everyone, as you probably all know, Apple Insider reported rumors of a Sandy Bridge MBA with thunderbolt going into production at the end of May, for a June release. http://www.appleinsider.com/article...n_of_thunderbolt_macbook_airs_next_month.html

I apologize for the cut and paste, but as we near these dates we should be getting more rumors.

The most recent rumor i know of was the AppleInsider article from April 22nd. I think typically the closer you get to the rumored date, the more credible the rumors become. So far we haven't heard anything to the contrary. The rumors say they will start to be produced by the end of May. If true we can expect some more leaks and rumors in the next week or two.

True to this, the latest rumor comes today from Digitimes, also mentioning late May production and a June or July release. According to the article, 3rd quarter laptop sales are historically very strong (could in part be due to college and student's preference for laptops) and the release could be July depending on how many units Apple wanted to be ready by launch.
