Just updated my MBP M1 to the latest version of Big Sur. It’s stuck on the Apple logo screen.

It failed after a while. I’m guessing it was Al Dente that caused this. Should have removed it fully before updating , lesson learned.

I merely chose option to shut down in the above recovery menu, restarted and all was good again. LOL Meaning I didn't need to reinstall OS.
