Latest upgrade 10.12.2 killed Photoshop

After upgrading to the latest OSX, I am unable to open my dinosaur version of Photoshop (CS5.1). Getting a "Could not complete your request because of a program error" message. (how would I see my logs about this?) Just wanting to report this - even though I know I am WAY overdue for a Photoshop upgrade - just in case someone else is having the same problem, and if there's a fix without shelling out $.

It's 10 bucks a month for Photoshop, Bridge and Lightroom. A tax deductible expense for any professional or business. Basically, that means free.

When I do a Save As on a JPG file and the file already exists, it crashes every time on 10.12.2 beta 1, CS 6 and CS 2014
